War is a terrible tragedy that has touched every Ukrainian.

My father was a volunteer — he went to protect us: my mother, my little sister, and me. He is no longer with us; he gave his life so that we could live.

I dream of being able to keep building — to assemble cars, airplanes, and ships from Lego. I would really love to have a big, big Lego set as a gift.

And to our defenders — from the bottom of my heart, I bow to you. Please come home alive. Your courage and heroism inspire us to believe in victory. We are free in our dreams.

A big thank-you to you, our defender, for your resilience and courage. You protect my land, our country, far away from your own home — but know and remember that we are grateful to you for giving us the chance to grow, to study, to laugh, and to talk with our teachers and friends at school.
