Oleksandr, 15 y.o
Good evening, Santa,
This is Oleksandr Vovk reaching out to you. I am 15 years old, and I am currently in my first year of college. My home is in the village of Antonivka, but due to this cursed war, we had to move to Zaporizhzhia. It hurts me so much that I haven't been able to see my father for the second year in a row, but I have a dream that the war will end very soon because dreams are meant to come true. I am deeply saddened that innocent people are losing their lives because of all this. I don’t need anything for myself.
Thank you, goodbye, Santa.
Sincerely,
Sashko.

Arsenii, 6 y.o
Dear Santa,
I’m writing this letter to share my thoughts, dreams, and tell you a little about myself and my life. My name is Riznyk Arsenii, and I am 14 years old. Almost three months ago, I lived in the village of Malokaterynivka. Now I live in the city of Zaporizhzhia, where my brother and I were taken in by our current family. Now I have many brothers and sisters. I try to do my best in school.
When I came to this family, I saw life from a different perspective. I discovered a new hobby—playing basketball with my brothers and other kids at the sports ground. I also love drawing and listening to music. These bring me joy, and I strive to become better at them. I also have a few dreams that I would like to share with you.
I dream of having a basketball that I can use to play with my brothers and friends. I would also like to have a phone and headphones. For my studies, I would really love a new tablet, and I would also like a game console to play with my family.
Thank you for bringing joy to children all over the world.
Sincerely,
Arsenii Riznyk

Good day, Santa! My name is Liza. I study in class 8-B and live with my sister Elvira and her husband Oleksandr. I also have a younger sister named Anzhelika, and I often spend time with her. We love drawing and playing with toys together.
I really want to receive a soft toy—a giraffe—and a backpack with a drawing set. My dream is to live in a country without rockets, without the loss of lives, where we don’t have to run to shelters or hide in corridors at night because of air raid sirens. My dream is to live in a peaceful and free country! I hope my drawing helps convey what’s in my heart and in the hearts of most Ukrainians.
Santa, I wish you a happy life and hope you live in a peaceful country.
Sincerely,
Yelyzaveta

Dear Santa,
Please accept my greetings. We are from the small town of Orikhiv.
Our entire town has been destroyed and left in ruins. There is no more of my beloved school, my kindergarten, or my house. I now live in Zaporizhzhia, where we are renting a place, and I study online in the 5th grade. My greatest dream is to return to my hometown and for the war to end.
I would like to receive a black sports suit, size for 150 cm height and medium build.
Thank you.

Oleksandr, 14 y.o
Hello, Santa,
My name is Oleksandr, I am 14 years old, and today I have a wonderful family. Seven years ago, I was living in an orphanage in the city of Melitopol. Before that, according to the documents, I had been in two other families, but somehow I ended up back in the orphanage again.
Then Galyna and Serhii became my parents and took me to their home in Zaporizhzhia. At first, I was scared of what to expect, but over time, we became one family.
In 2018, I found out that I had a brother named Kyrylo, who was in the “Sonechko” orphanage. I also discovered that I have a little sister, but she was adopted by another family when she was 2 years old. I hope that when we grow up, we will find each other. We brought Kyrylo home when he was five years old. Those were good times—I went to school and to kindergarten. We had many pets, including our beloved pit bull Tera, as well as cats, a turtle, fish, hamsters, chickens, and geese. We took care of our animals, rode bicycles, and every evening we played with friends.
But then the quarantine came, and later the war, which ruined our lives and the lives of many people in our country. With the Russian “liberators” came a lot of sorrow and tears. Now we study online and pray for our soldiers and for victory. Santa, I ask you to help our country win so that the war ends soon.
And I have a small request for my little brother—please gift him a remote-controlled toy.
I would really like to receive wireless headphones, a backpack, a plush toy, and some computer games. I have been well-behaved and always help my mom.
Thank you.

Good day, my dear Santa,
My name is Oleksandra, and I am 10 years old. I am in the 5th grade. I have a wonderful family and four lovely sisters—two older and two younger. Right now, we are not living in our home because we had to leave our village. On February 24th, everything changed: explosions and sirens began. I so much want these attacks, explosions, and sirens to stop. I want things to be like they were before.
My uncle is serving in the military, and I wish for him to come home safe and unharmed.
For myself, I would like Quads—roller skates with four wheels.
Thank you!

Good day, my dear Santa,
My name is Lina, and I am 14 years old. I am in the 9th grade. I have a wonderful family with four lovely sisters—two biological and two cousins. Right now, we are not living in our home because we had to leave our village. On February 24th, everything changed: explosions and shelling began. More than anything, I wish there were no more explosions, attacks, or sirens, and I dream that this war ends as soon as possible. I also wish for my uncle, who is serving, to come back home safe and unharmed.
I’m not even sure what I want for myself because I have everything I need, but I would like some cosmetics.
As I mentioned, I have two younger cousins who also deserve a gift. They have been well-behaved and wonderful all year. The youngest is named Alina; she is 4 years old and still goes to kindergarten. She dreams of a small makeup set to add to her beauty. The older one is named Sofiika; she is 6 years old and already in the first grade. She dreams of having cosmetics and a bead weaving set.
Thank you!

Dear Santa,
My name is Ivan Khemii. I am writing to you with great hope and sadness in my heart. I want to tell you about our native village of Shyroke and what we had to go through.
My grandmother, uncle, sister, and I hid in the basement for three days because there was heavy shelling around us. It was very scary, and we didn’t know what to do. We feared for our lives. Our village is currently under occupation, so we had to leave and come to Zaporizhzhia to stay safe.
I also want to thank our defenders—the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They are doing everything possible to protect our land and to return our home to us.
I dream of going back home when everything becomes peaceful again, and I wish for our soldiers to return alive and healthy.
Santa, I ask you to protect our soldiers, give them strength and courage, and, if possible, help all of us return to our native village of Shyroke as soon as possible.
As for a gift, I would love to have a skateboard, some sweets, and a remote-controlled sports car.
Thank you!
