Dear Santa,
My name is Anzhelika. I am 14 years old and I am in the 8th grade. I live in the small town of Vilniansk in the Zaporizhzhia region.
I have wonderful parents. I dream of becoming a lawyer, but my biggest dream right now is for the war to end. I live close to the frontline, so we often hear explosions in our town. It’s scary to go outside because one day I was already injured at the site of a rocket strike.
For the holiday, I would like you to gift me a tablet for studying or the Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum perfume.
Sincerely,
Anzhelika.

Dear Santa,
My name is Nika. I am 13 years old and study in the 8th grade. I have a wonderful family with four lovely sisters—two cousins and two biological. Right now, we are not living in our hometown because we had to leave our village. Everything changed on February 24th: explosions and shelling began.
I want there to be no more explosions, attacks, or sirens. I dream that this war ends and my uncle, who is serving, returns home safe and unharmed.
For Santa Day, I would like a pair of roller sneakers (2-in-1, size 38, 26 cm).
Thank you!

Tymur, 4 y.o
Dear Santa,
My little son, Tymur, is still very young—he’s only 4 years old—so he cannot write yet. Instead, I, his mother Kateryna, am writing this letter on his behalf.
Our family had to leave our hometown of Tokmak due to the full-scale invasion of Russian forces. We are currently living in Zaporizhzhia, but even here we are not left in peace.
Our children are afraid to be alone, and they fear loud noises because, unfortunately, they already know what rockets are and the destruction they bring.
We miss our home in our hometown deeply, but we have nowhere to return to—it has been looted, and strangers now live in our house.
The children miss their bunk bed the most, as well as their toys, which we, their parents, bought just before the war began.
At the moment, our younger son is involved in futsal and freestyle wrestling. He dreams of becoming a famous athlete.
As parents, we want nothing more than to see the happy eyes of our boys every day.
For the holiday, they will be happy with anything: toys, sports equipment, clothes, or shoes. (Just in case, here are Tymur’s sizes: height – 120-130 cm, shoe size – 30).
We also want to wish everyone who reads this letter a happy Santa Day! May he protect each of you and grant you good health. And for us, Ukrainians—victory.
Sincerely,
Kateryna

Alisa, 13 y.o
My name is Kuzmina Alisa, and I am 13 years old. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. Before the war, I lived with my big family in the city of Orikhiv. We had everything there—a large swing, a gazebo, lots of toys, a garden with fruit trees, and our life was like a fairytale. My mom always did and still does everything she can to provide the best for us. In my hometown, I had many friends with whom I went to school, attended various clubs, and played handball. In the summer, we used to go to camp and to the sea with my family.
But due to the aggression of the neighboring country, we had to leave our home and everything we had behind and move to the city of Zaporizhzhia. Our life has changed here. All of my friends have scattered to different countries and cities, and I only see my classmates during Zoom lessons. Many of my toys and other belongings are still at home in Orikhiv. After some time, my mom found a sports club for Wushu, and I happily joined it. I’ve made new friends there.
Dear Santa! I have dreams, and I believe that they will come true. I would like to have a hair dryer, a phone, and children's cosmetics (even though my mom says I’m beautiful as I am, sometimes I’d like to put on a little lipstick or some eye makeup), and board games to play with my big family. But my biggest dream is for the war to end and for Ukraine to win so we can return to our cozy home."
Sincerely,
Alisa

Dear Santa,
My name is Sasha. Because of the war, my family and I had to leave our home. There are many others like us. I would like to wish peace for all of us and hope for a quick return home. I wish that no one else suffers because of the war and that everyone can be happy.
Even though I am not a little kid anymore, I still want to believe in miracles. Above all, I wish for peace. And I would also love to have VR glasses.
Sincerely,
Oleksandr Pasichnyk.
